About the sohanyoga courses

Sohanyoga Advanced Practices is a full-scope system of yoga, formulated by the indian yoga teacher Sohan. Integrating asana (posture) practice with pranayama and meditation, Sohanyoga advanced program covers all of the eight limbs of yoga. The system includes practices that can be taken on by people who are new to yoga and takes people all the way through, to gradually build up an advanced level yoga practice.

The purification of the body and mind at the subtle level, brings the practitioner into an ecstatic state of living. It also creates a sense of peace and bliss, which are the cornerstones for the realization of unification of oneself, the real energy of yoga.

Many people ask if they are ready to take on a full yoga practice. The truth is that anyone who feels ready and has the desire to take these practices on, can do so. The techniques are not difficult to learn, all we need is the desire and dedication to learn them and allow them to transform our lives.

Key Points of Teacher Training Course Anatomy

Knowledge of anatomy is a vital component to understanding the postures and the body. Understanding the postures is a key element to becoming a good teacher and providing a deep and safe practice for your students. We break down every aspect of practice to make it understandable.

Philosophy

You will be provided with a thorough understanding of yoga philosophy. Philosophy gives a clear vision of the yogic path which will not only help guide you on your path but will also give you the tools to encourage others on their path.

Correct and Effective Yoga Asana Practice

During our yoga teacher training course ,3 hours per day, under the observation of our experienced teachers, will be spent practising and breaking down postures piece by piece. This will give you a full understanding of the correct alignment of the postures.

All students are required to conduct and lead practical classes. This helps to overcome the fear and nervousness of preparing for classes.

Discipline

Discipline is one of the most important aspects of yoga & yoga teacher training course. Without experiencing this discipline it is not possible to understand what yoga is about. This yoga teacher training course, curriculum, environment gives you an opportunity to understand and follow this discipline for the whole 2 months which will become your strongest pillar as a yoga teacher.
